| My flight to Nepal stopped off in Hong Kong. I was supposed to stay one night here, but my flight was delayed from Vancouver by 25 hours and I could only spend 6 hours in Hong Kong. Notice the efficient transportation from the Airport to Downtown -- a real pleasure when you want to see the city and don't have much time. Here is the view from the tram which climbs the side of a mountain overlooking downtown. It is the most spectacular view in the city where high rises seem to sprout like weeds from the jungle. After this, I walked to the zoological gardens where they had a mixture of caged birds and plants. I was running from one spot to another making sure not to miss my flight to Kathmandu. |
